Press Release

Vida Group and RemaSawco have agreed on the delivery of two new full quality board scanners along with complementary products and systems for strength grading and sorting at two of Vida Group's sawmills. The total order value amounts to SEK 15 million

The new systems ordered by the Vida Group include the market-leading RS-BoardScannerQ, as well as several additional products and systems to meet the customer’s requirements for strength grading and sorting of structural timber for both European and global markets. The systems will be installed in the existing planing mill at Vida’s HN sawmill in Hästveda, as well as in a completely new high-capacity planing mill at the Bruza sawmill in Hjältevad.

The delivery also includes commissioning and training, with a total order value of SEK 15 million.

In addition to the agreed order, several optional features may be called upon at a later stage.

Delivery, installation, and commissioning will take place during 2025/2026.

"With these two systems, Vida has now purchased a total of 10 RS-BoardScannerQ systems from RemaSawco, and we are extremely satisfied with the functionality they deliver. Additionally, we have now built up extensive knowledge of the system within the company, which we highly value"

says Jonas Axelsson, Technical Director at Vida Group.

"It’s truly appreciated that Vida Group once again places their trust in RemaSawco as their supplier. We have a long and successful history together, and we look forward to continuing to build on that foundation"

says Emilien Saindon, CEO of RemaSawco.
