RemaSawco develops products and systems in scanning technology, smart data analysis and optimization for the sawmill industry. The product range, based on in-house developed products and software, handles everything from timber intake, timber sorting, saw-line and board sorting to modern automation solutions.

The business offers turn-key solutions to optimise the entire production flow in a sawmill, from log sorting to board handling and a high level of after sales services to ensure availability to the customer. The solutions stretch from accurate measuring systems to proprietary optimisation software. Additionally, RemaSawco develops digital platforms for smart data analytics to enable the customer to integrate in the future preventive maintenance and decision making.
RemaSawco focuses primarily on Scandinavian and European customers operating “State of the art” softwood sawmills. The customers have a strong innovation drive together with a focus on productivity and efficiency. Innovation being core, the latest solution the Boardscanner (BSQ) is seen as one of the best on the market. RemaSawco counts among its customers Stora Enso, Holmen, UPM, Vida and Moelven.
RemaSawco’s headquarter is in Linköping in Sweden, the company also has several additional operating sites across Scandinavia. RemaSawco invest heavily in research and development with over 30 percent of its personnel dedicated to development.
